The 2021 Barossa Valley vintage benefited from favourable conditions, marking an improvement after two dry years. Increased rainfall, mild summer temperatures, and optimal January ripening conditions enhanced grape development. Beneficial weather during flowering and early February aided bunch setting and berry growth. An extended harvest period due to a dry Indian summer resulted in exceptional quality wines across varieties and styles. All these factors have made 2021 a standout vintage for Monteperle wines.
