The colour is deep ruby red, with black hues. The nose is showing Cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and some blood plum. Underlying roasted coffee beans and spice from the oak add an extra layer of complexity.

The palate has cherry and black fruits on entry, with ironstone, earthy notes, and coffee bean as through the middle and finish. Powdery yet supple earthy tannins give the wine a lovely full bodied luxury mouthfeel, and complexity, with a long persisting finish. After decanting for one hour the blackberry fruits become more dominant.
