French oak adds an extra layer of depth and complexity, bringing nuances of fresh black coffee. The palate has deep plum fruits, blackberry, dark chocolate, and pepper with a rich full-bodied mouth feel. The fine-grained tannins and perfectly balanced acidity give the wine a lovely mouth filling presence, with a long persisting finish.
